Christmas Offering

This year, our Christmas offerings at the Carol Services and on Christmas Day will support the Christian against Poverty Christmas Appeal. CAP provides vital help and support help to families within our local community, who are at breaking point. At a time when many are struggling to make ends meet, worried about affording gifts, putting food on the table or keeping up with rising energy costs. Your generosity can make a real difference. You can give during our services through offering bags or the contactless card terminal, or donate online directly to CAP

Get Involved
This is a busy and joy-filled season, and it’s even more meaningful when we support others along the way. There are lots of ways to get involved, from helping with our Christmas Projects, to serving at our Christmas services, or taking part in community activities beyond the Christmas period
Christmas Projects
This Christmas, we’re joining with other churches in Purley and Kenley to bring hope and joy to our local community, especially those facing financial hardship. Through the generosity of our church family and friends, we’re helping provide gifts to brighten the season for those in need, through Come Dine with Jesus and Toys for Joy. Recipients are nominated by Purley Food Hub’s ticket partners. To find out more, including how you can give online and help make a difference, click

Come Dine with Jesus
Through Come Dine with Jesus, we provide supermarket vouchers to Purley Food Hub and CAP (Christians Against Poverty) clients, helping them purchase ingredients for a Christmas meal and a few festive treats. Each voucher comes with a booklet sharing a Christian message. Vouchers cannot be used for alcohol or the lottery.

We provide children who would not ordinarily have much at Christmas with one toy and a chocolate selection box, plus a lovely event for families to attend when collecting the toys! On the day, parents/carers of children aged 0–16 select a toy to give to their child at Christmas, craft activities are provided for the children, refreshments are available for all - and there's an invitation to receive prayer.
The event is on Saturday 29 November 1-3pm.
