Join a Team

Whatever your gifts, skills, and talents we know there is a part you can play in the church family. Each day we are blessed with lots of opportunities to use our gifts as Christians at church and within our communities. There is always a great need for people to volunteer in order for all the practical roles to be filled in the running of our services and ministries.

Would you like to volunteer?

Join one of our Sunday Teams or another PBC Ministry. Have a look at the ministries via What's On and Connect. Most roles within the church are on a rota, training is provided. You would work alongside fellow believers, it's a great way to connect and serve God. See Volunteering at PBC Guide for more general information.

You can use the form below to let us know what area of church you would like to get involved in. The ministry leader will then get back to you.

Why serve others at church and in the community?

At PBC we are a community of believers who love God and the people around us. Along with our faith in Jesus Christ, our Saviour, and Lord, we also believe that everyone who attends has a role to play and can use their God-given skills and talents for the good of the church and the community. These gifts include teaching, evangelism, social action, pastoral care, prayer, healing, taking part in worship, administration, and hospitality.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
