Sequoias Women's Ministry
Rooted in sisterhood - Sequoia trees have inspired our vision for community building among women.
Sequoia trees are known for growing closely together, their branches intertwining and creating a network of support. This allows them to withstand harsh weather conditions and thrive in their environment. Similarly, women can support each other in their Christian, personal and professional growth by forming close relationships and building a community of support. By sharing knowledge, skills, and resources, women can help each other overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Just like the Sequoia trees, they can lean on each other during tough times and celebrate each other's successes. When women grow together, they become stronger and more resilient, just like the mighty Sequoia forest.
Established in Sept 2023, may the intertwining begin and forever continue...
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:1-4
