 Women's Conference 'All That I Am' at Brighton Road Baptist Church, South Croydon on Saturday 1 June 2024 12pm-4pm.
Our annual conferences started in 2016, the theme this year is "God's Presence Matters". This is the first All That I Am Conference since the pandemic and we are really excited to see how God will move amongst us women!

 The Purley Literary Society, affectionately known as 'Purley Lit' started in 1901, and has being running continuously except for the war years and the recent pandemic. The Society engages guest speakers to present talks on a variety of topics, usually illustrated. Meetings are held fortnightly at Christ Church, Purley on Tuesdays at 8pm from October to March, and last about an hour, followed by questions and answers. All are welcome, visitor or joining fee.  The Black Light Course - 8 Sessions, 2 May - 27 June 2024
Thursday evenings 7pm - 9pm.
The Black Light Course is hosted on Zoom meetings format, and each session is run interactively including break-out rooms and time for questions to the speakers at the end. Delegates are encouraged to have their videos live where possible. Find out more information here and book your place here. The course was first run in London in the 1990s as an opportunity for Black Christians to dig deeper into their history and think about contemporary challenges and opportunities, and for White Christians to learn more about the history, spirituality and faith of Black Christians and churches. Black and White presenters and participants shared in a rich learning experience. |
 Bible by the Beach 3–6 May 2024, Eastbourne - God Has Spoken.
A weekend Bible-teaching conference for the whole family! Bible by the Beach (BBTB) is a lively, contemporary Bible-teaching conference for all ages! Starting on Friday evening and running through to lunchtime on the Bank holiday Monday, there are daily Bible Readings brought to us by Richard Pratt, at least 5 seminar streams (some repeated so you can get to more) and Evening Celebrations. Parallel to this there are childrens and youth groups for all ages under 18. Add to this a large “10 of Those” bookstall, exhibitor stands manned by many of our favourite organisations, a Family Praise event, prayer meetings, exceptional music and time to enjoy some free time and all that Eastbourne has to offer. The conference is based around the Congress Theatre and conference centre and various venues within an easy walk of the main building. On Sunday morning some of our speakers and trustees will be preaching in local churches so you can choose one to visit! |

Baptist Assembly 2024 is over Pentecost weekend and will be a wonderful opportunity to be filled afresh with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Gents, over the past 10years I've been going to The Gathering & have never come back without being blessed & inspired to fight on against Satan's perpetual attacks. Last year it was my privilege to go with 3 other guys from PBC each of who too came back inspired & ready for more occasions to celebrate with 2000 other men from across the UK, seeing around 80 men commit or recommit themselves to God.
