International Needs
After many years of close links, our partnership with International Needs UK strengthened in 2018, when we committed to support their WASH Programme (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) in Buikwe, Uganda.
We are now exciting to be engaging with their Kenya Street Boys project. Check out their website for more details.
International Needs Ukraine Appeal 2022 and beyond
International Needs Slovakia and International Needs Romania are ready and desperate to support the thousands of Ukrainian refugees crossing the borders looking for safety. They ask you to donate to this appeal to provide urgent support for these families. Please donate

2020 was the final year of this 3-year programme which involves International Needs working with 12 villages in Buikwe.
Here is their
May 2020 Update
with details of the long term change which we have helped bring to these communities. As the country of Uganda takes precautionary measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus, we are encouraged that these communities have been trained in good hygiene practices and have better access to sanitation facilities such as handwashing.
We are hoping to continue our fundraising for another project in Uganda and were planning for a team from PBC to visit Bulyassi in 2020. Watch this space for the next update.
We are supporting the 1,058 people in Bulyassi Village to improve their health primarily through the provision of fresh water. By the end of 2019 we had raised over £32,000 for the project through a number of different methods of fundraising: a 10k run, the London Marathon, a cake sale, a quiz evening and even a shaved head! This has provided two new and repaired water sources in the village, plus toilets, hygiene education and much more.
