Positive Life Courses 

This programme of short courses covers health, well-being and work skills, and provides solutions and help you to discover new possibilities for change. Topics covered include: 

  • improving self-confidence/motivation
  • developing a positive approach to change, setbacks, mistakes, criticism and rejection
  • breaking destructive habits
  • setting goals and achieving them
  • developing a positive attitude
  • avoiding comparisons with others
  • developing friendships
  • using our strengths and values
  • understanding personality styles
  • networking, listening, assertiveness and other communication skills

Courses are free and have 10-15 participants. Current/upcoming courses:

  • Positive Life for Ourselves - 7 weeks on Wednesdays 10am-12pm: 30 October to mid-January 
  • Positive Life with Others - 6 weeks - starting February 2020
