Positive Life Courses 

This programme of short courses covers health, well-being and work skills, and provides solutions and help you to discover new possibilities for change. Topics covered include: 

  • improving self-confidence/motivation
  • developing a positive approach to change, setbacks, mistakes, criticism and rejection
  • breaking destructive habits
  • setting goals and achieving them
  • developing a positive attitude
  • avoiding comparisons with others
  • developing friendships
  • using our strengths and values
  • understanding personality styles
  • networking, listening, assertiveness and other communication skills

Courses are free and have 10-15 participants. Current/upcoming courses:

Positive Life with Others - 6 weeks
  • Wednesdays 10am-12pm: 5, 19, 26 February | 4, 18 March | 15 April
  • Wednesdays 7.30pm-9.30pm: 22, 29 July | 5, 12, 19 August | 16 September
Positive Life for Ourselves - 7 weeks
  • Wednesdays 7.30pm-9.30pm: 29 April | 13, 20 May | 3, 10, 17 June, 8 July
  • Wednesdays 10am-12pm: 21, 28 October | 4, 18, 25 November | 2, 16 December
