Pastoral & Staff Team
James Collins - Senior Minister
Prior to joining us in May 2015, James previously worked as a lecturer at Amersham College, and more recently served as a pastor at Gold Hill Baptist Church, Morden Park Baptist Church and Redhill Baptist Church. James is greatly interested in people and alongside his strong interest in academic theology, he strives to communicate the relevance and usefulness of Christianity to 'real life'.
He is married to Naomi and they have two children, Katie and Michael. Interests include reading, watching and participating in sport, visits to the cinema and theatre, and relaxed time with his family.
Marilyn Webb - Associate Minister
Marilyn joined us in March 2016. She came to the church following pastoral roles at Baptist churches in Kislingbury & Upton, Romford and Landbeach & Milton. Marilyn has also been a full-time Mum and worked in HR and as a Management Trainer. Marilyn believes church should be a place where the hurting and needy can find healing and restoration and a place that is constantly growing and giving its best to God.
Marilyn has 3 grown up children and 3 grandsons. She enjoys swimming, walking and crafts, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Mark Humm - Youth Minister
Mark joined us in September 2002. He loves hanging out with young people, teaching them about Jesus, and using the bible as the foundation for a living faith. He has a BA (Hons) in Biblical and Evangelistic Ministry. Mark has a very low boredom threshold so having fun and making people laugh are high on the agenda. Mark loves playing sport, especially football, and more recently kayaking. He enjoys playing the drums and guitair, and listeing to music.
Matt Rolfe - Children & Families Leader
Matt joined us in September 2014. He graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2013, gaining a BA (Hons) in Theatre Design and previously achieved a Distinction doing a Foundation Diploma in Design for Performance at Wimbledon College of Art. He has specialised in Puppetry & Children's Theatre and brings this ministry alive amongst us.
Matt is a gifted musician, playing a number of instruments. He loves to song-write, play tennis, watch football, visit National Trust places and is fasincated by derelict architecture.
